Privacy policy

This policy explains what alllocalaimodels.com ("we", "the site") collects when you visit, why, and what control you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

1. The short version

• There are no public user accounts. You cannot register, and we do not build a profile of you.
• The calculators run without asking who you are. Your GPU selection is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
• If you submit the contact form, we store what you typed so we can reply.
• Third-party advertising and analytics providers may set their own cookies. Those are described below, with opt-out links.

2. Information you give us

Contact form. When you send a message we store the name, email address, topic, subject, and message body you provide, along with the page you sent it from, a one-way hash of your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. The IP hash and user-agent exist solely to detect automated abuse; they are not used to identify or track you across the site. Messages are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted, unless the exchange is subject to a legal obligation.

Email. If you write to info@alllocalaimodels.com directly, your message and address are held in our mail provider's systems under their terms.

3. Information collected automatically

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and user-agent — for security and reliability. These logs rotate on a short retention window.

Local storage. The VRAM and hardware pickers remember your last selection using your browser's local storage so the site does not ask you the same question on every page. That value never leaves your device and you can clear it by clearing site data.

4. Cookies and advertising

Full detail is in the cookie policy. In summary:

• Essential storage keeps the site working and your preferences intact. It is not used for advertising.
• Analytics, where enabled, tells us which pages are read and where people leave, in aggregate.
• Advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out page. Blocking these cookies does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.

Where required, a consent banner is shown before non-essential cookies are set, and your choice is stored so you are not asked repeatedly. You can change that choice at any time from the cookie policy page.

5. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

• Legitimate interests — keeping the site available, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage.
• Consent — non-essential cookies, including advertising and analytics cookies where consent is required.
• Contract / pre-contractual steps — responding to a message you chose to send us.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Data is processed by the service providers who make the site function: our hosting provider, our email provider, and our advertising and analytics partners. Each processes data under its own terms and applicable law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and may opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do neither. To exercise any right, email info@alllocalaimodels.com from the address concerned. We respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

8. Children

This site is aimed at a technical adult audience. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

The site is served from infrastructure that may be located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS. Administrative access requires authentication and supports two-factor verification. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential information through the contact form.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes and, where the change is significant, a notice is shown on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
